    All candles will be shipped out 5-7 business days after your order is placed.

    All orders are shipped out from San Carlos, CA.

    Yes! Restocks happen about 1-2 times a month. Sometimes longer if one of the fragrances or jars from our suppliers are sold out.

    Return and Exchanges

    We want you to be happy with what you purchased from Earthside, so please contact us at if you have any issues with your order and we will work our hardest to solve the problem. Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

    Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Products in which a "note to seller" note was left for the product are non-refundable.

    To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and send your item to the posted return address.

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

    Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

    If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

    There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
    * Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
    If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

    Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
    If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
    Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
    Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

    Sale items (if applicable)
    Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

    If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

    If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

    If you need to change the address on your order let us know right away, and we'll do whatever we can! Unfortunately we're unable to make any changes once an order has shipped. Email and please reference your order number as well as the desired shipping address.

    We are not responsible for items delivered to an incorrect address supplied by the sender. 

    Care and Refills

    - Keep your wick 1/4" long every time you light it.
    Melting pool: Soy wax is "memory wax" and will burn enough around from the first time you light it. For maximum performance, make sure that you create a full melting pool before blowing out the candle. Recommended: Burn candle for at least 1 hour during the candles initial lighting. 
    Caution: Never burn candle in an unattended area and keep away from children and pets. Burn your candle on a flat surface and away from items that can catch fire. The jar will get hot, so please be cautious when grabbing it. 

    All candles are made from soy wax, all natural fragrance oils, lead-free cotton wicks or eco-friendly, clean-burning, wooden wicks made from FSC certified wood, and no dyes. They are also paraben and phthalate 

    Select "refill" on our shop list and let us know which candle you are refilling. Please note: Refills are for the specific scent you previously purchased.

    For your safety, you should never burn a candle all the way down to the bottom, we recommend to stop burning a candle once it has only 1/4" of wax remaining. When you're ready to repurpose your candle vessel, follow these instructions to remove the left over wax from the container:

    (follow these steps only once wax is fully cooled)

    • Fill glass with approximately 1 inch of water

    • Use a butter knife to carve an "X" into the remaining wax, then use your butter knife to follow the edge where the wax meets the glass

    • Now that your wax is loosened up, use your butter knife to pry out remaining wax and pop wick tab out from the bottom - it is secured with a sticker but the water should help with this

    • Use hot soapy water to remove any left over residue

    Now you're ready to repurpose! There are a multitude of ways to repurpose you vessels. Some options are to hold cotton swabs, bobby pins, hair ties, or fill an inch or so with small rocks or gravel, add in some soil and
